Introduction

Water Security is an important consideration for long-term sustainability in a water-scarce country like Singapore. Over the past few decades, numerous innovative approaches to manage the total water cycle had been initiated by the national water agency, the Public Utilities Board (PUB). Driven by a vision of ustainability, PUB has invested in research, development and technology to build a diversified and sustainable water supply from four different sources known as the Four National Taps (water from local catchment area, imported water, reclaimed water known as NEWater, and desalinated water.

Today, there are more efficient water management, including formulation and implementationof water-related policies, investments in desalination and extensive reuse of wastewater, and catchment management and other similar actions. This resource guide gives a list of resources including books, electronic sources and websites on these and related topics.
