Introduction
Artists use all sorts of mediums to express themselves, and books can be one of them. The artist’s book is essentially a publication created as a work of art itself, which can be “read” visually.
Some artists’ books are simply pages of images bound together, but others do not even look like books! This art term has also been used to describe the illustrated book or illuminated manuscript, where pictures are used to enhance a story told in words.
This resource guide will help you find information on artists’ books at the Lee Kong Chian Reference Library.
