Introduction

Georgette Chen nee Chang Li Ying (b. 1906, Zejiang Province, China - d. 15 March 1993, Singapore), considered one of a group of artists to have established the Nanyang style of painting. She is most known for her still life and portraits in oils.

This Resource Guide serves as a guide to help you locate resources on Georgette Chen available at Lee Kong Chian Reference Library (LKCRL) or the National Library Board libraries as well as the following organisations: LASALLE College of the Arts (LASALLE), National University of Singapore (NUS),Singapore Arts Museum (SAM) and private collections.
