Introduction

Muhammad Ariff Ahmad was born on 6 December 1924. A well-respected Malay language and cultural luminary, he has received many awards including the Cultural Medallion (1987), SEA Write Award (1993) and the Anugerah Tun Seri Lanang (1993).
