Introduction

Music, as a field of study, includes composition, performance, history of musical styles and forms, theory, and philosophy of music. It also includes such things as instrument design, electro-acoustics and biography of notable performers and composers. Whether your interest lies in learning how to play or sing, write or read music, or understand and appreciate modern or traditional musical styles, the Library has resources that will assist you. This pathfinder serves as a guide to help you to source for information on music available at National Library Board libraries as well as on the Internet.
