Introduction
This online resource guide compiles resources that can be found in the National Library of Singapore's collections and elsewhere on the World Wide Web that are written by Pitupong Chaowakul or document his body of works. In the interest of encouraging research, it is hoped that this guide may serve as a useful tool to all architectural enthusiasts, students and researchers on the topic.

Pitupong Chaowakul (b. 1975, Ubon Ratchathani, Thailand - ) studied architecture at the Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok, Thailand, before going to the Berlage Institute in Rotterdam, in the Netherlands, to obtain his postgraduate degree in 2001. In 2003, he founded a Bangkok-based architectural firm, Thisdesign, in 2003 with five other friends. However, Thisdesign dissolved in 2009, and Pitupong Chaowakul subsequently established Supermachine Studio. Supermachine Studio today is multi-disciplinary in its practice, covering architecture, interior, product and exhibition design, as well as art installations. The studio is made up of five members: Pitupong Chaowakul, Nuntawat Tasanasangsoon, Suchart Ouypornchaisakul, Santi Sarasuphab and Kamolporn Wiriyaichaisang. |
