介绍
《红楼梦》是中国四大古典章回小说之一，被誉为“中国封建末世的百科全书”， 标志着中国古典文学发展的最高峰，影响巨大。新加坡国家图书馆曾于2006年与新加坡文艺馆联合国主办过一个“《红楼梦》私人藏书展”，展示国家图书馆和新加坡两位收藏家——梁竞西博士和姜洪发先生的书刊珍藏。展览也介绍有关《红楼梦》出版及研究各方面的成果及其影响，提高读者对《红楼梦》的认识和了解，并鼓励读者阅读古典名著、培养阅读兴趣，以期能有更多人投入研究工作，提高我国国人的文化素养。图书馆当时也配合展览，出版了一部《红楼梦展特辑》，内容包括《红楼梦》的相关资料以及书目；现将部分内容放上网，供读者查阅。

The Literature Librarians of the Lee Kong Chian Reference Library maintain the literature collection on level 9 and 8 of the National Library Building. We are split into the following three teams, namely the English, Chinese, Malay and Tamil teams.
